What a milestone we’ve reached. 19 party’s over the last two years from the dark days at The Horse & Groom to Bestival, The Box and now The Alibi. There’s been some special nights with some outstanding friends playing top notch records until the rum ran out. But this one is set to be a spectacular addition to our third year of partying.

Mark down Saturday the 11th of February in your planna as we’ve invited down flatmate and holder of Glaswegian decent Mr. Frank Mitchell, one third of ‘This is Our House‘ and that fantastic Fragment mix from 2012 – which you can listen to below if you missed it.

Frank Mitchell – Fragment Mix by fragmentlondon.

Then to keep up with tradition, friend, fellow drinking partner and all round man of musical crime Mr. Tony Poland of Slutty Fringe and Juno Plus fame will be joining the fun yet again after his killer duet in December. Listen to Poland’s Fragment mix below.

Artist Yayoi Kusama presented a large white domestic environment, painting every wall, chair, table, piano, and household decoration a brilliant white. Then gave an open invitation to the museum’s smallest visitors to dot the space with colour stickers over the course of 2 weeks.

The outcome? A ‘vibrantly mottled explosion of color’.

2011 has been an absolute corker for Fragment. Our second full year included so much from producing the most popular night at Dalston’s Alibi every month to being quoted by Mr Rob Da Bank after DJ’ing at a wet and wonderful Bestival. It’s been a complete joyride and one we hope to continue on into 2012 with a new publication coming out, more partying and much more fun.

Thanks to everyone who’s made it happen, come down and had a good time or follows us on the blog – have a great Chrimbo and a superb new year – see you all at Alibi in January.

2011 has brought some major changes in the punk scene with Face to Face reforming and the split of The Ghost of a Thousand, one of Brighton’s golden generation punk outfits. But not all is lost with the formation of Eager Teeth, a new five-piece super group including ex-This City, Telegraphs, Chaos Days and Hot Damn firepower.

The video above set’s the scene for their new single ‘Lights Out’, combining Bronx esq specialities, great vocals and a killer beat. Keep it on replay and look out for more music from the boys in 2012, can’t wait to see what happens with em.
